Pardon the Interruption

'If you are talking, and then I start talking, now you stop talking and what I am talking about becomes more important than what you were talking about.' I don't think that is the definition in the dictionary for the word 'Interrupt', but when I asked a student for the meaning, that was the definition they replied. And, I must say, it was perfect. Because that is exactly what I want to do. When you are doubting yourself, when you don't feel confident, when you are ashamed of how you look, when you have negative self-talk going on, and you think about venturing off to social media for validation, I want to interrupt that conversation in your mind and let you know how special you are.
